These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AssamStudyAi (the "Service"), operated at assamstudyai.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- AssamStudyAi is intended for school students, primarily Class 6–10, and their parents/guardians.
- If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and permits your use of the Service, including any purchase of a Pro subscription.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Your account can be signed in on only one device at a time; signing in on a new device will sign you out of any other device, as a measure to keep your account secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information (such as your name, class, district, and school), as it is used to personalise your experience of the Service.
2. The Service We Provide
AssamStudyAi provides AI-assisted study tools (Notes, Essay Generator, Grammar Tool, Exam Generator, Daily MCQ/GK, an AI Chat Assistant, and a Maths solutions hub), a rewards and leaderboard system, a referral program, and an optional Parent Dashboard. See our AI Disclaimer for important information about AI-generated content — by using the Service you acknowledge and accept that disclaimer.
3. Rewards & Leaderboards
- Students can earn in-app coins through regular study activity, as described within the app.
- Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased with real money, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They exist solely to unlock in-app rewards and leaderboard standing.
- Periodic leaderboard competitions ("RankWar") rank students based on activity within each period, with standings resetting on the schedule shown in the app. We may adjust reset timing for technical or fairness reasons, with reasonable notice where practical.
- Top-performing students in certain competition periods are eligible for rewards, which may include additional Service benefits or physical prizes, as described within the app at the relevant time. Where a physical prize is offered: it is fulfilled at our discretion, may be substituted for an item of equal or greater value if unavailable, is delivered only within India, and requires the winner to provide accurate delivery details within a reasonable window. We may verify eligibility before dispatching any prize.
- We reserve the right to adjust, freeze, or reverse rewards and leaderboard positions we reasonably believe resulted from a bug or a violation of these Terms.
4. Referral Program
Registered users receive a unique referral link. Referral rewards are described within the app and may be changed prospectively at any time. Rewards may be withheld or reversed where we determine, in good faith, that a referral was fraudulent or otherwise abusive.
5. Pro Subscription
- AssamStudyAi offers optional Monthly and Yearly Pro subscription plans with expanded usage benefits, described within the app at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment gateway. By subscribing, you also agree to that provider's applicable terms for the payment method you use.
- Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless explicitly stated at checkout; where auto-renewal is offered, you can cancel any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Pro subscription benefits are activated only after payment is verified.
- If a Pro subscription is not renewed, benefits are paused after the grace period shown in the app until renewal.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Because Pro subscriptions unlock digital usage benefits immediately upon activation, purchases are generally non-refundable once the subscription period has started, except where required by applicable Indian consumer protection law, or where:
- You were charged due to a verified technical error on our end (e.g. duplicate charge, or payment taken but the subscription never activated);
- You did not receive the plan you paid for.
To request a refund review, contact admin@assamstudyai.com with your payment reference within 7 days of the charge. We will review each request in good faith and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to exploit or manipulate the rewards, leaderboard, referral, or usage-limit systems, including through automated tools or multiple accounts;
- Use the Service to generate or share content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes another person's rights;
- Attempt to access another user's account or data, or interfere with the security or availability of the Service;
- Use the Service for any purpose other than personal educational use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including forfeiting rewards and leaderboard standing obtained through such violations.
8. Intellectual Property
The AssamStudyAi name, logo, platform design, and source code are our intellectual property, as described in the Copyright Notice on our About page. Content you generate through the Service (your Notes, Essays, exam papers, etc.) is provided to you for your personal educational use; we do not claim ownership of your original questions or content, but you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content (see our AI Disclaimer). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, or as required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Assam, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users in-app before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
